Terms of use

These are the plain-English terms for using nlqdb. By using the site or the service, you agree to them.

Who you're dealing with

nlqdb is operated by Omer Hochman, an individual (sole proprietor) based in Switzerland. Questions: hello@nlqdb.com.

The service is still pre-beta

nlqdb is early software under active development. Features can change, break, or disappear without notice, and we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Please don't rely on it for anything critical yet.

Your data and databases

• Databases you create anonymously are temporary and are deleted automatically. Sign in to keep one.
• You're responsible for the content you put into nlqdb and for having the right to use it.
• We may delete data or accounts to keep the service running, prevent abuse, or stay within our free-tier limits.

Free tier and limits

The free tier is subject to usage limits (rate limits, storage caps, and fair-use bot protections) that we may adjust to keep the service available for everyone. Paid plans, where offered, are billed through Stripe on the terms shown at checkout.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Use nlqdb to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
• Attempt to overload, probe, or abuse the service, or work around usage limits and bot protections.
• Upload data you're not allowed to share.

Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent Swiss law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost or corrupted data arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Swiss law — in particular liability for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury.

Termination

You can stop using nlqdb and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the service or other users; where practical we'll give notice first. On deletion, your data is handled as described in the Privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the substantive laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for any dispute is the competent courts at the operator's domicile in Switzerland, unless mandatory law (for example, consumer-protection rules) grants you a different forum.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always dated at the top of this page. Material changes take effect when posted, and continuing to use nlqdb means you accept them. Questions: hello@nlqdb.com.
